Apartheid is defined as crimes against humanity committed via systematic oppression and domination by one group over any other group/groups, and committed with the intention of maintaining or expanding that regime. Crimes that reach such status are not isolated or sporadic events, but are part either of a government policy or when wide practice of atrocities are tolerated or condoned by a government or a de facto authority. Murder; extermination; torture; rape; political, racial, or religious persecution and other inhumane acts reach the threshold of crimes against humanity when they are part of a widespread or systematic practice.
I first started becoming aware of religious apartheid while following news stories about wide spread rape and murders by fundamental Islamists. I couldn’t help but notice how many different countries these heinous acts were being perpetrated in. I wondered if it was common for religious apartheid to occur in various countries, and why Islam seemed to be so predominant in the news stories. Now to be fair, the word “apartheid”, though it has Roman roots, is most commonly used with regard to South Africa and the internationally recognized racial apartheid that took place there. Present day Israel/quazi-Palenstine is another region of highly publicized accusations of apartheid, with both sides having convincing evidence that demonstrates systematic and government sponsored atrocities committed in the name of nationalism, but that is not really religious apartheid*. What I found most convincing, is the wide spread violence perpetrated by fundamental Islam that, taken as a whole, is clearly defacto apartheid, and the world seems largely unaware to its progress.
The most chilling examples of Islamic Apartheid is occurring in Pakistan, Egypt, and Africa, where Christians of all ages are being raped, tortured, and murdered either for being Christian, or as a method of forced conversion.
Pakistan:
Example 1) Baby Neeha, at the age of 2, was raped by the son of her father’s employer and left to die by the roadside. No one was arrested for the crime. The rape occurred because Neeha’s father refused to convert to Islam, a conversion being pressured upon him by his employer. The remaining family now lives in Canada because of follow up death threats for the crime of speaking out against the murder of his infant child.
Example 2) 28 yo male student raped and murdered for not converting to Islam {Click Here}
Example 3) Hundreds of Christian girls have been systematically raped and tortured until they “convert” to Islam, and then are quickly married in sham Muslim ceremonies. If the girls refuse to convert, they are often further brutalized, murdered, or further brutalized under Sharia Law for “adultery”. {Click Here} If they do “convert” and escape, they are often hunted down as apostates, to be further brutalized.
Example 4) Christian couple attacked – man burned alive, wife raped, for refusing to convert to Islam:{Click Here} <-in this instance, it was actually the police who were raping the wife.
There are many many more examples of this kind of atrocity, too many to list in this article. The reason this is apartheid in Pakistan is not only because the police and religious leaders are taking part in the atrocity, but State court has ruled that conversion of kidnapped girls (knowing it is done by rape) is acceptable to ages as young as 7 years old. {Click Here} . So violent the oppression, that other Christians, fearing for their own safety, try to convince Christian victim’s family members from speaking out against the Muslim attackers. Clearly this is Apartheid, religious and Political, since Islam is chiefly a Theocratic Political System.
Egypt:
While there has always been strife between Christians and Muslims in various parts of Egypt, since the overthrow of the Mubarak regime, fundamentalists have been stepping up the systematic attack on Christians. Church bombings, kidnapping and raping of young girls and women for the purpose of attempted conversion (exact same atrocities as are occurring in Pakistan), and political executions stain what was once a movement toward a new era of tolerance and democracy in Egypt. So critical has the violence against Christians in Egypt become, that Christian leaders have called upon international bodies to convene on their behalf, and on the behalf of other Islamic sects that are being targeted by fundamental Islamic predators.

In Egypt today, once moderate religious leaders now seem to be embracing the more radical elements of Jihad.
Sudan, Niger, Darfur, Mauratania:
In these countries, children of both sexes, and women, are being systematically kidnapped, raped, forcibly converted to Islam, or taken as sex slaves by Arab men, while Christian communities are held at gunpoint against their will in order to be preyed upon. {Click Here}

Saudi Arabia:
Having already reached absolute control, any Christian texts or symbols have been made illegal in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is the home land of the most radical sect of Islam, the Wahhabi (aka Salafi). Strict forms of Sharia law are practiced there as a means of population control and oppression.

But that is not all that occurs in Saudi Arabia. In fact, apartheid is indoctrinated in school children through subversive State sanctioned teachings. The textbooks take a very aggressive stance against Jews and Christians whom it views as unbelievers and eternal enemies of Islam. And if you do not believe, or even doubt, that Christians and Jews are unbelievers, you are an infidel yourself, and as such, are no longer a “protected soul”, whom the killing of is not considered murder.
Iraq:
March 2003-2009: 1,960 Christians Killed, Homes of 500,000 Confiscated, 200,000 forced to pay Jizyah, & Christian Population Falls from 2.1 million to 500,000, and serial attacks on churches, Christian homes, Christian buildings, and Christian families still continue as fundamental Islam in Iraq has nearly completed the total apartheid extermination of Christianity in Iraq as remaining Christians are escaping in mass to save their lives or from being targets of forced conversion through rape, murder, kidnapping, and torture.
Worldwide:
In all, Apartheid violence can be attributed to fundamental Islamists in a staggering 65 countries worldwide {Click Here} With such a staggering number of examples throughout the world, there is clear evidence that fundamental Islamists are systematically engaged in Religious/Political Apartheid against Christians, Jews, Hindu’s, Bahai’s (see Iran), and even other sects of Islam (as Shiite’s are being attacked by the radical form of Sunni=Salafi).
It would take an article hundreds of times longer than this one to list all of the events currently unfolding worldwide, with tens of thousands of incidents in the past decade. It is long past time for the international community to stand up and defend itself against this worldwide pandemic of fundamental atrocity committed under the guise of religious context, and at the hands of those who justify their crimes against humanity with Quranic versus.
Another factor which proves that this is apartheid is that the victims are systematically denied avenues for justice, either because those in power intimidate victim groups from speaking out, or enforce laws which effectually make speaking out against the law. Islamic States often have such laws whereby speaking out against an abusive system is considered blasphemy, which carries stringent punishment. According to Pew Polls, nearly 2/3 of Pakistani’s fear that fundamental Islamists will succeed in taking over the country. Apparently, they feel things could get worse. But how much worse can it be for those looking to escape Islam when a frightening 78% of Pakistani’s polled (84%+ in Egypt and Jordan) believe that the death penalty should be enforced against those leave Islam. Globally, polls of Muslims show a 30% agreement with the use of the death penalty for apostasy. While not the majority, given the wide spread belief in strict interpretations of Sharia Law, it is easy to understand how Islamic Apartheid can become such a global problem.
Wake up world! Your enemy is right under your noses and their goal is world domination through systematic rape, torture, murder, genocide, and enslavement. When the powers-that-be in these areas do nothing while the atrocities occur, and when they are spurred on by Islamic leaders in those communities, THAT is Apartheid. If the United Nations panel that is charged with preventing apartheid is incapable of recognizing and acting on this global issue, than it is time for free nations to act according to what is just to protect the children of the world from these savage attacks. Recognizing these demonic predators is not Islamophobia, it is a call to humanity against the inhumane.
How many more children must suffer while the rest of the world sleeps in apathy.
